Olivine

Petite 'dormeuse' earrings featuring bronze-green baroque* freshwater pearls teamed with tiny faceted rondelles of olive-green Tourmaline. These are suspended from Sterling Silver hoolks.

Price: £22.

* baroque pearls are not perfect spherical rounds, instead they are charmingly uneven. It is this wonkiness that makes them so appealing, I think..

Golden Brown

Another small pair of earrings that won't get caught in your hair or woolly jumpers..

These feature rondelles of Smoky Quartz, stacked with vermeil beads and topped off with tiny rondelles of golden-brown Andalusite.

They look like a pair of Diana to me. Price: £22.

Glistening Garnets

I've been wearing roll-neck sweaters quite a lot lately - to keep warm. And one thing I've realised is that my many & much-loved chandelier earrings can get a bit tangled in the knit... So I've been making small earrings, and they are pretty too - not just tanglefree!
Here is a pair featuring a set of beautiful cranberry-red Garnet rondelles that I have had for a long time without knowing what to make of them. I've stacked them with detailed gold-vermeil beads and topped them off with tiny rondelles of Rhodolite Garnets. I like Garnets, so I have a lot of them to play with.
I try to name jewellery, to help me remember each piece I make. These are called Marina. Price: £24.

Lavender Dormeuses

The 'dormeuse' style of earring must be the most wearable of all, I think, they can be worn with anything. This pair features faceted briolettes of palest lavender Amethyst, set in hand-coiled loops of silver wire and suspended from silver lever-back hooks. They have been given an oxidising bath turning the silver matte black as a contrast to the translucent stones.

Missing Twin Restored

One of my customers recently got in touch asking for help - she had lost one of a pair of amethyst earrings I made for her a few years ago. Luckily I still have some of these lovely asscher-cut amethysts in stock, so I was able to make up the missing 'twin'.
I think it's a shame to let lovely semi-precious stones languish unworn. Don't banish your jewellery if it has lost a part or been damaged - very often it can be repaired or refashioned into a new piece.
