My Designer Favourites

These are my favourite designers...

Pippa Small - I covet her medieval looking chunky gold rings with big semi-precious stones. If I were rich I would have lots of these beauties. Go to her little shop in Colville Mews in Notting Hill - it's heaven! www.pippasmallshop.com

Sarah May Marshall - a wonderful young designer who spent a long time designing my engagement ring. I wanted something that looked as if it could have come from an archeological dig, and Sarah worked and worked until she came up with the embodiment of my elusive idea. If you find yourself in Richmond I recommend that you visit her contemporary shop on the high street, or log on to www.sarahmaymarshall.com

Marie-Hélène de Taillac - she led the way in creating jewellery using colourful semi-precious stones, intended for everyday wear, not just special occasions. Incredibly inspiring and influential in modern 'gemstone ready to wear', MHT has shops throughout the world, and an appropriately gorgeous website: www.mariehelenedetaillac.com
