Honey Bee Mine

Citrine. Lovely pale champagne to molten gold hues, and excellent as a financial charm too, if you believe in gemstones as talismans...

This bracelet features large faceted rondelles of honey-golden Citrine finished off with a Sterling Silver t-bar clasp.

Price: £22.

Note: Citrine is a hardwearing gemstone, but it will fade if left in bright sunshine for a longer period of time. So don't leave it on your bedroom window ledge for example, tuck it away when you're not wearing it.

Moss Amethyst Tassels

We have just returned from a week on the French Riviera, and one thing that struck me was that the waitresses in the cafés and beach restaurants were jazzing up their straight uniforms of short skirts/shorts & t-shirts with beautiful dangling earrings of all kinds. And it reminded me that pair of long earrings swishing around the neck is incredibly flattering, so upon my return I made some tassel earrings like these. The large number of small faceted stones give lots of movement and capture the light beautifully.

This pair features long tassels with petite faceted pear briolettes of Moss Amethyst, shot through with black rutiles, which are connected to small hammered hoops in 14K gold fill via faceted tiles of Grape Amethyst. These are suspended from simple French earwires in 14K gold-fill, which come with little silicone 'nuts' to keep them securely in place (not shown).

Price: £46.

Arm Candy

I used to wear lots of bracelets, but then I started working in an office, and suddenly found them slightly impractical when hammering away on my keyboard. However, when I'm on holiday or simply inhabiting my private persona outside the office I still love to pile on a few.

These two are what I would qualify as holiday or beach bracelets, as they won't deteriorate in the sun or in seawater.

Number 1 is a slim bracelet featuring faceted rondelles of glossy black onyx with a Sterling Silver t-bar clasp. Price: £22.

Number 2 is an ultra-slim bracelet featuring tiny glass seed beads with a silver centre. The clasp is a Sterling Silver lobster clasp. Price: £14.

For the Beach

We've just returned from a very sunny week on the French Riviera, and while there I thought about making some beach jewellery, as seawater and sunscreen can damage the precious materials in our normal jewellery. Gemstones can lose their lustre, gold and silver can tarnish, while pebbles and sand can scratch...

Here is a slim little bracelet perfect for a tanned wrist: Tiny glass seed beads in creamy pink with a trigger clasp adorned with a tiny faceted Pink Topaz and a faceted Rose Quartz briolette.

Price: £16.

Ametrine Hoop Earrings

Small 9K Gold-Fill hoop earrings adorned with microfaceted rondelles of Ametrine ranging in colour from golden champagne to palest lavender.

Price: £39.
